Welcome to Zins again!
Zins is OPEN, thanks to all the help and support received from you - our community! It's been a long year, but we are grateful and thrilled to be serving you again. Due to our dedicated staff and lots of outside help, we opened exactly one year to the minute from our watery closing in 2008.
You'll notice very few aesthetic changes at Zins. During our "do over" we tweaked a few things in the kitchen and bar areas to make your dining experience even better, but the design is essentially unchanged.
Zins menu concept has also remains virtually unchanged with the exciting addition of "The Big Plate." Our first version is a 10oz. smoked prime rib as part of our dinner selections. Meanwhile, we've increased the number of small plates, retaining some favorites and adding some creative new options. We're also featuring our recipe contest winner, Judy Ehlers, and her great halibut recipe is proving to one of our biggest sellers.
Our wine dispensing system, "The Great OZ" is up and running, flights are "flying" and the wine list has already increased to nearly 70 bottles. The beer list is better than ever and the "tweaking" we mentioned will make our mixologists even more efficient!
Our biggest news is that we return with 75% of our staff. From the kitchen to the valet drivers, our team brings the same customer focus that has always been at the heart of what we do. We're so lucky to have such a wonderful, dedicated group!
Soon we'll be offering OpenTable, an international system for making seamless on-line reservations to make eating at Zins a piece of cake (pun intended).
